Turning the page of a newspaper is simple. A news app should be too. That is why, together with OÖNachrichten, we worked on an app that quickly delivers news to where it belongs: to the readers. From requirements engineering and design workshops to UX, UI, and cross-platform development, a great deal was thought through, tested, and discarded along the way. Ensuring that, in the end, only what a great app truly needs remains. And not just what happened to fit in.
There is no shortage of news. Which makes it all the more important that you don't have to battle your way through the app just to find it. Clear structures, intuitive operation, and a design that doesn't steal the spotlight from the content.
Build once, double the benefit – thanks to Flutter, the app runs on both iOS and Android. This not only saves duplicate work, but also ensures that nobody has to feel left out because of their phone. At least not by us.

Test before it gets serious.
What sounds logical to us is not necessarily logical for users. That's why we clicked, scrolled, and tested before everything was carved in stone – or rather, code. Ultimately, user testing shows you pretty quickly where you thought you were being a bit too clever.
Under the bonnet.
On the front end, everything should look as simple as possible. On the back end, however, things can get complicated. With Flutter, Spring Boot, and RevenueCat, a lot goes on in the background that readers ideally won't notice at all. That is exactly how we like software.

Open, read, scroll on. Sounds like little effort – at least for the readers. That is exactly how it should be. We put in a little extra effort behind the scenes.
