    you are right Multi, the design of the train is very japanese. i havent seen this yet though on the subways here, but then again it does look a tad dangerous.

    That’d be unnecessary on most Japanese trains I’ve been on. The crowd was dense enough that there’s no way you could fall.

    this device might look good, but you’d be lucky to find a train where it’s safe enough to sleep and there is enough room to sleep… not to mention, not strangling yourself in the process.

    That’s ingenious except that I don’t trust people on the train, not enough to sleep or even close my eyes. The next thing you know, someone’s either stolen your stuff or you have a naked guy sitting next to you doing god knows what..
